The Broadcom BBU-BRACKET-05 (LSI00291) is a high-quality remote mounting bracket for compatible LSI and Broadcom MegaRAID controllers. It allows for the secure mounting of a Battery Backup Unit (BBU) or a CacheVault Power Module (CVPM) in an adjacent PCI slot, ensuring flexible installation in server enclosures.
The bracket supports the simultaneous accommodation of up to two BBUs or CacheVault Power Modules and improves air circulation around the energy storage modules thanks to its ventilated design. This ensures optimal cooling during continuous operation.
A full-height slot bracket is pre-installed. Additionally, a low-profile slot bracket is included in the scope of delivery, allowing the bracket to be used in both standard and compact server enclosures.
The BBU-BRACKET-05 is ideal for professional server, storage, and data center environments where cache protection modules or backup batteries need to be mounted in a space-saving and reliable manner. It is compatible with numerous LSI and Broadcom BBUs as well as CacheVault Power Modules.
