The Broadcom Emulex LPe32002 Gen6 Fibre Channel Host Bus Adapter (HBA) is a high-performance, dual-port SAN card for professional server, storage, and data center environments. With two 32G Fibre Channel (32GFC) ports, the adapter offers an extremely fast and reliable connection to enterprise storage systems and is ideal for business-critical applications, virtualization, and flash and NVMe storage.
The HBA is connected via PCI Express 3.0 x8 and utilizes the powerful Emulex Dynamic Multi-Core Architecture, which ensures particularly low latency, high IOPS performance, and optimal utilization of available resources. The card supports 32GFC, 16GFC, and 8GFC, making it fully backward compatible with existing Fibre Channel infrastructures.
The LPe32002-M2 is NVMe over Fabrics (NVMe-oF) capable and allows simultaneous operation of NVMe and SCSI workloads over the same Fibre Channel infrastructure. This makes the adapter ideal for modern all-flash storage systems, databases, virtualization, cloud computing, and high-performance computing (HPC).
